I live and work in and around the Athens Ga areas. I am a retired veterinary technician and a certified dog trainer. Knowledgeable with all breeds of dogs, I specialize in behavior modification and rescue dogs. I have learned from and trained with some of the best in the industry and was fortunate enough to have Victoria Stilwell from Animal Planet’s “Its me or the dog” as a mentor.<\/p>\n
From 1987 to 2008 I was a veterinary technician. In 2008 I founded and managed a no kill dog rescue. Thru the rescue I personally saved over 2500 dogs. The rescue was set up like a doggie daycare.\u00a0 I currently live on a mini farm near Athens, Georgia. I have studied animal behavior most of my life. I offer in your home dog training, pet sitting, and also dog walks. I also offer in depth trouble shooting sessions for dogs. I want to ensure a happy, healthy relationship between animals and humans. I specialize in rescue dogs, but have also managed show catteries, been around livestock, have a farm currently, and even have experience with exotics and wildlife.
